About Boizel Rosé Champagne
Founded in 1834 In Épernay by then newlyweds Auguste Boizel and Julie Martin, the Boizel family has been pouring love into Champagne making for nearly two centuries. Sixth generation winemakers Florent and Lionel Roques-Boizel have acquired an in-depth understanding of the Champagne terriors and believe in the importance of treating the land and vines with attention and respect to preserve their natural characteristics to reveal the best expression.
The region of Épernay is known for Champagne. In the late 18th century, when producers perfected the art of Champagne production and paved the way for global distribution, Its chalky subsoil, typical of the region, enabled some 110km of cellars to be dug, creating a hidden ‘town beneath the town’ and developing a unique underground heritage.
Champagne Boizel Rosé shows a breathtaking pale pink with golden coppery glints in the glass giving the gift of opulence even before the first sip. A classic blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier (40/30/30), with fine creamy bubbles that deliver complex wild strawberry, citrus and mineral with a long and slightly spicy finish.
